Fatter to get married or divorced?

Well, the right answer depends on gender, ie men are not affected by marriage in the same way as women, and so does divorce. According to a new study in the United States, men tend to gain weight when they divorce, and against women do when they get married.
It is clear that both marriage and divorce can affect our health, and therefore we can win a few extra kilos, but it is curious that in this circumstance is of couples over thirty years, perhaps because from that age our metabolism does not work so well, or maybe because at that age and give greater weight to the possibility of not finding someone else with whom to share the rest of our lives.
In fact this post marriage weight gain, or post divorce, may be such that arrives affect our health, we must remember that excess weight can affect our circulatory system, and in the worst case lead to heart problems.
To reach these conclusions, university researchers took into account a range of factors that could have influenced the weight gain or loss, such as for example in the case of pregnant women, the poverty level, socioeconomic status and education.
The data analyzed were collected by the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 79, a representative sample of the whole of American society that started with data collected from men and women aged between 14 and 22 years, who then is to annual monitoring until 1994, and since then every two years.
These data were interested in covering the range from 1986 to 2008, and included a total of over 10,000 people. Interestingly, both men and women who were married or divorced were more likely to have a small weight gain in the two years following their marital transition, compared with those who had never married.
In conclusion we could recommend to women who try to take care of their line when they become married, and the same men, because in fact it has also been shown that weight loss improves sexual health, and this is the best gasoline to keep alive flame in marriage.
